On their way out the door for his grandfather’s funeral, five-year-old Magne refuses to go, which causes his father to scold him. The father angrily goes downstairs to pack the car, while Magne shuts the front door, trapping his father outside. The power dynamics between father and son are turned upside down, and now it is Magne who decides whether they will make it on time. The film explores the act of meeting one’s child and letting each other in.
